IT’S A WRAP: FIVE TASKS FOR YOUR FINAL CHECKLIST
Last week and this week are finals for summer sprinters. Let’s say you’ve written or posted that last exam. There are a few things you can attend to that ensure you get full credit for the work you have put in over the past six weeks.
These tasks come under the heading of the not obviously necessary, but all are tasks that some students later wish they had checked:
- Check to ensure you have received credit for all work completed.
- Back up and possibly archive all course material, references and work that you have completed. Comb through emails, group posts, online resources, and online class lectures.
- Update your contact list for current and future social and career networking.
- Send appropriately timed farewell and appreciation emails to instructors and fellow students..
- Check your to- do list for the fall–application documentation, funding application, and accommodation documentation will take longer than you might wish or expect.
That’s it! It’s a wrap! I’ll check in next week for the intersession hiatus before we start the new academic year.
