STEVE, I HAD TO LET YOU KNOW!
Okay, I really want to share this with you–it made my day. Kevin called so excited, “Steve, I had to let you know–got a B in psych!”
Kevin gave permission for me to share this with you. This was a term of gaining and exercising independence as a student where so much is new and different.
What the big challenge was . . . he sat down to take the test, and discovered that he had studied the wrong material. So it was a salvage job to make up for that setback.
And make it up, indeed he did. Time management was critical here. We worked on estimating the time available left in the term and prioritizing the material in that course along with other commitments.
The take-home here is how a stumble isn’t a fall and doesn’t put you out of the race. Kevin believed he had enough of a chance to recoup his loss–and that gave him what it takes to change it up and power through!
Good going, Kevin! And thank you for sharing your success!
I’ll be blogging before New Year’s looking ahead to winter term. It’s been a year, and we’re glad we’re here and through the term, through the year!
In the meantime, the very best of the Season to you all!
