WELCOME BACK!

A whole new school year! For most of us, some things have changed, some not have not–one thing we all share is the knowledge that we can continue to expect change and surprise. We don’t know what the semester will bring, but we know that we’re ahead of where we were two-and-a-half years ago!

We can congratulate ourselves for getting through those two-and-a-half years. We’ve learned new meeting skills and dealt with different ways of organizing our work and our lives, some of us with illness and loss.

And we’re here! Starting on Sunday, I’ll be blogging on topics my clients focus on to gain their academic goals. In no particular order, you can expect to pick up strategies and tips on

  • Effective time management
  • Study techniques for different subjects
  • Work habits that reinforce
  • Flexibility
  • Motivation
  • Goal setting to reach targets
  • Dealing with a disappointing grade
  • Exam writing–prep and performance
  • Difficult instructors
  • Rewards and Reinforcers
  • Group work
  • Decision-making strategies
  • Identifying and utilizing resources
  • Self-confidence
  • Celebration

If you’d like an area addressed that is not on the list, let me know. I can add it or help you find resources.
